I am a former sole practitioner who has worked exclusively as a contract attorney since 1998. 

I am an experienced brief and motion writer, with nearly two decades of experience in providing quality legal research and drafting at very competitive rates. 

My experience runs the gamut from transactional law to litigation support. I work primarily in Oregon and Washington, but over the years I have supported litigation in numerous jurisdictions across the United States.

I provide legal research and writing services to attorneys, primarily small firms and sole practitioners. My work is exclusively in legal research, writing and editing. My primary experience is in litigation support (pleadings, motion practice and briefs) and in appellate briefing in both state and federal court. I can provide legislative histories, attorney opinions, and advisory memoranda as needed. I also have experience assisting small business lawyers in preparing and reviewing transactional documents, employment contracts and other business agreements. 

Although I maintain active memberships in the Oregon and Washington State Bars, I do not carry professional liability coverage. Therefore, I cannot hold myself out to the public as an attorney, give legal advice, communicate directly with clients in the capacity as an attorney, or appear in court.
