I provide freelance quality legal research, writing, and editing services to attorneys, primarily small firms and sole practitioners, at competitive rates. I work primarily in Oregon and Washington, but over the years I have supported litigation and performed legal research in numerous jurisdictions across the United States.
My primary experience is in litigation support (pleadings, motion practice and briefs) and in appellate briefing in both state and federal court. I can provide legislative histories, attorney opinions, and advisory memoranda as needed. I also have experience assisting small business lawyers in preparing and reviewing transactional documents, employment contracts and other business agreements.
Although I maintain active membership in the Oregon State Bar, I do not carry professional liability coverage. Therefore, I cannot hold myself out to the public as an attorney, give legal advice, communicate directly with clients in the capacity as an attorney, or appear in court.
